The Pelican Opened in 1996. The business had previously been called Chantillys and then Club 101. When Roy King bought the building, it was in a very sad state of disrepair, so he closed the existing business and revamped the whole building.
The premises was found to be in a worse state than originally expected so what was originally intended to be a 3-4 month project took over a year to complete. The front of the house was converted into a cosy bar complete with fireplace and an intimate lounge designed especially for meeting ladies. At the back of the house 7 luxurious rooms were built and designed by one of the World's leading designers. These rooms ooze sex appeal and are guaranteed to get you instantly in the mood. |

The Pelican Club took the Country by storm with its elegant decor and professionalism. Roy and Lyn had been in the industry for 20 years when the Pelican Club opened so they were able to choose management and staff who really complimented the plush surroundings. They are also famous for their hospitality and specialize in making clients and new ladies very welcome.
The Pelican Club became busy very quickly and it was soon obvious that more rooms were needed. A new floor was completed in 1999, which more than doubled the number of rooms in the building. With a staff or over 120 the Club has stolen the limelight and is now the busiest and most established massage parlour in New Zealand. The Pelican Club is now an Auckland Icon and known by everyone. |
